Elm Street Brewing Company is the newest and fourth Muncie craft brewery established since 2012. Located in the historic 1890s Muncie Ice and Coal Building at 519 North Elm, co-owner Eric Jones reported the official tasting room opening on Nov. 18, 2016. He added, “The brewery plans to complement its 72 seat tasting room with a 120 seat dining room adjacent to the newly constructed kitchen in early 2017. Once complete, the eclectic menu will feature a fusion of modern-American and old world styles produced from a 3000-pound brick oven and a double-decker open flame grill.
